Service

By texting 'CAB' to 88080 you will receive the telephone numbers of up to three taxi firms relative to the location from where the text originated.

Texts cost £1 plus your standard network charge.

General

On sending a text/SMS message to Mobile Location Ltd's taxi number short code, 88080, you are giving your consent for the use of your information as described in these Terms & Conditions.

Mobile Location Ltd's taxi short code, 88080, uses location based services. So that we are able to deliver relevant information to you, we will contact your mobile phone network operator who will provide us with information on your approximate location based on the grid reference of the cell site which is or was last used in connecting your phone to your network.

Other than the location from which you are sending the text message and your mobile phone number, we do not receive any other personal information.

The information we receive will not be used for any purposes other than supplying you with the service, to assist us in resolving any complaints and to send you, from time to time, free text messages relevant to this service (for which the opt-out on receipt of such a message is to send 'CAB STOP' to 88080).

We will not disclose any data that you may supply to us to any third party without your consent.

We will only collect confidential information if it is considered necessary to serve a legitimate business purpose.

Confidential information will not be made available for external distribution outside the company except that which is essential in the day to day provision of the service.

Disclaimer

Where a User contacts 88080 and the use of uses location based services is necessary, the User agrees and accepts that:

• They have provided permission to have their mobile phone located and they consent for the release of such location data by the Network Operator to Mobile Location Ltd.
• The accuracy of the location data can vary depending on the User's physical location and the mobile network coverage of that area.
• Mobile Location Ltd reserves the right to withdraw the provision of the location based services element of the service at any time.
• Mobile Location Ltd does not guarantee that provision of mobile phone information or services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free.

Limitation of liability and indemnification

Due to the nature of mobile phone services and in light of the disclaimer above, Mobile Location Ltd cannot and does not accept liability for any damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangible property or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the use or the inability to use any provided mobile phone services or resulting from unauthorised access to, deletion or alteration of transmissions or data or failure of such services to store transmissions or data.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

These terms and conditions as modified from time to time together with any statements and instructions made by Mobile Location Ltd constitute the entire agreement between Mobile Location Ltd and You with regard to mobile phone related services and supersede all prior understandings and agreements, whether written or oral, as to such subject matter (except for fraudulent misrepresentations).

You agree that Mobile Location Ltd has the right to assign or sub-contract any or all of its obligations under these terms and conditions.
